FEI Dressage rider and trainer is looking for an experienced responsible, hard working individual for horse management and grooming at a small training facility. Duties including daily feeding, preparation of supplement buckets, turn outs, cleaning, grooming and tack/untacking horses in training, plus Game Ready ice treatments and other daily therapy treatments. Additional duties include farm sitting/house sitting including feeding and caring for my dogs and cats when I am away for shows, clinics, etc. Therefore, the manager must either live in close proximity to my facility or being willing to live on the property.

The position requires a highly self motivated individual that is detail oriented and a good team player. HE/she must be willing and physically capable to handle horses daily, load hay bales onto a feed trailer and muck corrals. The successful candidate must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy and capable to manage my facility and care for the animals here when I am away. Perks include being apart of an active, fun loving show barn and supporting the competitive efforts of a highly respected dressage rider. Salary is commensurate with experience. I would also consider a working couple because I have a separate position possible for grounds maintenance. The person for grounds maintenance must be comfortable around horses, capable to mucking stalls and paddocks as well as mow, weed, manage landscaping and pastures and be able to maintain/repair irrigation, drive a tractor, groom arenas and maintain other equipment like weedeaters and mowers.
